Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations, Luísa Godinho holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the Université de Genève, Switzerland.
She lectures at the undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. Her teaching areas are culture and communication for International Relations, social movements and epistemological and methodological issues.
She is also an invited lecturer at the National Defence Course and an Adjunct Guest Professor at the Polytechnic School of Education.
She has publications in scientific journals and magazines indexed in Scopus and Web of Science, as well as in the publisher Palgrave. As a researcher, she is currently a member of Observare – Observatory of Foreign Relations of the UAL.
She is co-editor of the Janus Yearbook, published since 1996, and is a referee for various national and international scientific publications in the area of Political Science and International Relations.
She is an elected member of the Pedagogical Council of the UAL and was a member, between 2014 and 2022, of the Scientific Council of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa.
She belongs to several international scientific associations in the area of Political Science.
