Luísa Godinho has a doctorate and a DEA in Political Science from the Université de Genève, Switzerland, and a degree in Communication Science from the University of Lisbon.

Today, she works as an Associate Professor at the Autonomous University of Lisbon and as a guest lecturer on the National Defense Course and in polytechnic education.
He possesses a solid academic experience with department direction, master’s coordination and teaching several curricular units at the undergraduate, master and doctoral levels.
Professor Godinho is interested in socio-linguistic and communicational approaches to political phenomena, focusing her teaching and research activities on this perspective.
Specialized in corpus analysis, discourse analysis and computational content analysis.
She is the author of an analysis model based on metadata for the study of social perceptions which she applied to the study of national image.
She writes articles in various scientific publications indexed, among others, in the Scopus and Web of Science databases, as well as book chapters from Palgrave and Springer.
She collaborates with the written and television press, national and foreign, on political topics.
