PhD student in International Relations: Geopolitics and Geoeconomics at the Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL), since 2016.

Master in Development Management and International Cooperation from the Modern University of Lisbon in 2005.

Graduated in Development Management and International Cooperation from Universidade Moderna in Lisbon in 2000.

He developed his professional career in the Pharmaceutical Sector, at the Bristol-Myers Squibb Portuguese Pharmaceutical Organization, in the Department of Regulatory Affairs, having assumed growing and diversified responsibilities in the scope of implementation and Project Management (1990 to 2013).

He was responsible for the Management of Confidential Technical Documentation Dossiers of the Organization in articulation with directives of the Mother House (Princeton, N.J, USA.) and the several subsidiaries at global level.

Managed the Clinical Trial Submission Processes taking place in Portugal in articulation with the National Institute of Pharmacy and Medicine (INFARMED).

Managed the various stages of the Translation Process of the Organization’s Confidential Technical Documentation.

He was also responsible for the Management of Working Groups in the area of Quality Certification.

She has been involved in the management of an interactive database of the Regulatory area at a global level, in order to allow the tracing of all Confidential Documentation relating to the products of the Organization, with access for all users at a global level.

He actively participated in the European Working Group responsible for the creation and development of a pilot project, Tracking Time Data Base, in conjunction with the Bristol-Myers Squibb subsidiary in Brussels.
