The open classes cycle is part of the Advanced Course of Studies on Sub-Saharan Africa that the Department of International Relations of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL) and the Institute of National Defence (IDN) promote, in partnership.
Bringing together a reputable group of experts, this course has as its objectives, among others:
a) To know and understand the specificities of sub-Saharan Africa;
b) To study and understand the processes of regional and sub-regional International Relations;
c) To identify, study and understand the focuses of conflict in the region.
