The publication of this book is part of the ongoing research project since 2016 at the OBSERVARE research center – Observatory of External Relations of the Autonomous University of Lisbon (UAL), in its research line “Studies of Security, Peace and War” , called “Management and Conflict Resolution”, and co-coordinated by Carlos Branco and Ricardo Sousa. The aim of this project is to develop skills in conflict resolution supported by academic and applied research that allow making informed recommendations for decision support policies. Assuming an eminently pedagogical character, the aim is to make the “Conflict Resolution” accessible to university students, academics and, more generally, to all interested and scholars of this theme.
