Today, the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa has a comprehensive and high-quality range of training programmes in the field of International Relations, with bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees and a series of intensive courses. All these courses are, in turn, articulated with OBSERVARE, a research unit. We would therefore like to acknowledge the contribution made by a number of students and researchers who saw this issue of Janus as the right place to publicise their work. The Yearbook is also a fundamental instrument in helping us to cement our relationship with partner institutions: the thematic chapter of this issue focuses on Latin America and is based on the work that the Chair of Ibero-American Studies has been developing with the Organisation of Ibero-American States. The call for articles for Janus is always open, so we appreciate your collaboration in keeping this publication active.
