Issue 1 of Volume 14 presents 14 scientific articles assessed by double blind peer review and 3 thematic notes. The themes chosen by the authors are diverse, although they have common points, which gives scientific unity and consistency to the issue. Issues such as Defence Education, securitisation, Public International Law and international terrorism, military strategy, the scientific study of wars and armed conflicts through the expression polemology, violence and populism, foreign policy, cooperation and paradiplomacy are analysed, concluding the section of articles with an analysis of the circular economy. The three reflection notes focus on analysis on blockchain technologies, unlikely partnerships and China’s role in the Ukraine war.
