Hélder Prior, Research Associate at OBSERVARE, is one of the nominees for the Bob Franklin Journal Article Award from Routledge and Taylor & Francis for the article “Framing Political Populism: the role of media in framing the election of Jair Bolsonaro”. The article was written with Bruno Araújo from the Federal University of Mato Grosso.
The award is the result of a collaboration between the journals Digital Journalism, Journalism Practice and Journalism Studies, which seeks to recognise the article that best contributes to our understanding of the links between culture and society and journalistic practices, journalism studies and/or digital media/new technologies.
