JUNE 30, 2022 | 2:00 pm | Auditorium 1 – UAL.
On June 29 and 30 in Madrid, the NATO allies will approve a new strategic defence concept and a 10-year investment plan. With the war in Ukraine dominating the media radar, what answers will the allies give? What status will China see recognised for the first time in a NATO document? What strategic and operational priorities will be identified? How will EU-NATO cooperation be enhanced? In the aftermath of the Madrid Summit, these and other questions will be debated with academic, political and military guests, in person and throughout the afternoon, in Auditorium 1, in a partnership between OBSERVARE-UAL and the Portuguese Atlantic Commission (CPA – YATA Portugal).
