With the aim of strengthening internationalisation and diversifying the perspectives and reflections on various central and relevant themes, the Department of International Relations of the Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL) has a programme of 6 Chairs aimed at bringing prestigious academics to UAL:
- Chair H. Mackinder of Geopolitics
- Chair J. Schumpeter in International Economics, F. Braudel Chair in International Relations Theories
- Chair N. Bobbio in Human Rights
- Chair UNESCO International “People on the Move and Human Rights” in partnership with the Open University -CEMRI
- Chair “Korea and East Asia” in partnership with Free University Berlin, the University of Oxford and several universities in South Korea
As part of the latter, we invite you to attend the lecture “East Asia foreign direct investment in Portugal: the cases of Korea, Japan and China” by Sung-Jo Park, Professor Emeritus of Free University Berlin, on June 5th, at 2.30pm. The presentation and moderation will be given by Prof. Miguel Santos Neves (UAL).
