Teresa Almeida Costa

With a degree in Sociology (ISCTE, 1985) and a PhD in Public Policy, in the Cooperation for Development specialty (Iscte-IUL, 2021), she has 33 years of professional experience in the planning, management and evaluation of projects and social and economic studies, with International Bodies, Portuguese Bodies of Central and Regional Public Administration, Trade Unions and Private Companies; 18 Years in international consultancy in Africa (5 PALOP and Senegal) and in Timor-Leste, held between 1985 and 2017, within the scope of Development and Financial Cooperation Programs or Implemented by the European Union, Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC, USA), Luxembourg Cooperation, Portuguese Cooperation, Danish Cooperation, International Organization for Migration (IOM), International Labor Organization (ILO), United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and World Bank (WB), studies and technical assistance services in various fields of social, organizational and institutional development.
