AN ENCOUNTER BETWEEN FRANCISCO I AND KIRILL I: A SMALL STEP IN AN APPROACH FULL OF UNCERTAINTIES
Degree in Russia History from the University of Moscow (Lomonosov) in 1984 and Ph.D. from the Faculty of Arts, University of Porto in 2007. Between 1989 and 2015 he worked as a correspondent for several national and international media organisations in Russia. Author of numerous articles and books on relations between Portugal and Russia, USSR policy in former Portuguese colonies in Africa and relations between the Portuguese and Soviet Union Communist parties. He has taught in Russian and Portuguese universities. He is currently a commentator for international affairs at SIC and RDP and is a columnist in Observador.pt (Portugal).
