This article makes a historical analysis of entrepreneurship in Angola, starting from the historical evolution of the entrepreneurship concept to focus on the evolution of this phenomenon in Angola, over four different historical periods. Resorting to bibliographic sources of reference authors and their extensive analysis, it was possible to obtain a historical perspective of entrepreneurship in Angola. The paper critically examines its evolution in the country and provides a reflection on possible future development scenarios.

Resumo
O presente artigo faz uma análise histórica do empreendedorismo em Angola, partindo da própria evolução histórica do conceito de empreendedorismo para se centrar na evolução deste fenómeno em Angola, ao longo de quatro períodos históricos distintos. Através da consulta de fontes bibliográficas de autores de referência sobre a temática em estudo, e de uma exaustiva análise das mesmas, foi possível obter uma perspetiva histórica do empreendedorismo em Angola, à qual se juntou uma abordagem crítica à evolução deste fenómeno no país e uma reflexão sobre possíveis cenários de desenvolvimento futuro.
