This week, AJPA/YATA Portugal organised an open lecture at the Autonomous University of Lisbon as part of the month-long celebrations marking NATO Day. The event involved students from the university’s International Relations degree programme.
This initiative provided young students with an insight into the state of the Alliance and our country’s transatlantic role. The lecture was led by members of the YATA Portugal Executive Committee, Miguel Moreira and Miguel Toscano.
It was a great opportunity to learn more about NATO, from its creation to the present day, as well as to discuss and exchange ideas on the future of the organisation and of Portugal in this context.
We would like to thank the students for their interest and participation, and in particular Professor Luís Bernardino for his time and for his continued support of our association and activities.
