It is also known for its oil reserves, marine biodiversity, and proliferation of submarine cables essential for digital communications. In this geostrategic space, Brazil acts as a central player in maritime security, intergovernmental cooperation, and strategic projection in the South Atlantic, seeking to consolidate the region as a zone of peace and sustainable development.
