HÉLDER PRIOR
Phd in Communication Sciences (2013) from the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Beira Interior, Portugal, with the rating of excellent by unanimity and mention of European Doctor. Degree in Communication Sciences from University of Beira Interior with the final classification of Very Good.
He conducted post-doctoral research at the Faculty of Communication at the University of Brasilia, with a scholarship from Brazilian Government (PNPD-CAPES/2013), between May 2014 and December 2015, and doctoral internship at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, with a scholarship from the Foundation for Science and Technology (2008-2011).
Currently, it is Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), developing research in the Communication, Philosophy and Humanities Center (LabCom.Ifp), from University of Beira Interior.
In 2016, he was a Visiting Professor at the Masters Degree in Political Science from the University of Beira Interior and, since 2018, is a professor in the Department of Communication Sciences of the Autonomous University of Lisbon.
It is member of the Executive Board of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Investigadores en Campañas Electorales (ALICE) since 2012 and a member of the editorial board of the scientific journals: Rhêtorikê" (LabCom - UBI), Más Poder Local" (Fundación Ortega y Gasset - Madrid") and Communication Studies (LabCom).
Hélder Prior published the books: Esfera Pública e Escândalo Politico (Media XXI); Diálogos Lusófonos em Comunicação e Política (2016), LabCom Books and (Des)construindo uma queda: a mídia e o impeachment de Dilma Rousseff (2018), Insular.
VITOR TOMÉ
Vitor Manuel Nabais Tomé is a Portuguese professional journalist (CP1524A) who concluded his Post-doctorate studies in Communication Sciences (2012-2018, funded by the Science and Technology Portuguese Foundation) in partnership with the Algarve University, Clemi-Paris, France, and the Catholic University of Milan, Italy.
Currently he is lecturing at Autonoma University of Lisbon and working, as a researcher, in various international and national research projects such as: "Digital Citizenship Education" (Council of Europe – Expert Group), COST Action "The Digital Literacy and Multimodal Practices of Young Children" (Digilitey), and "Digital Citizenship Education for Democratic Participation" (FCT/Algarve University, Portugal).
As part of his work he was awarded the Science and Technology Portuguese Foundation, the national research center, grant. He received his Doctorate in Educational Sciences from the University of Lisbon 2008.
Tomé has been an invited professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco (IPCB), New University of Lisbon (UNL), and Algarve University in Portugal. He has also been an invited professor abroad at Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio, Brazil (2013) and Hosei University in Tokyo, Japan (2009).
Tomé is the author of 10 articles in scientific journals, 30 conference-papers, fifteen book-chapters, five books and three software applications, and has tutored nine master dissertations since 2011 (UNL, IPCB and University of Beira Interior).
In 2010, he received the World Young Readers - World Association of Newspapers and News Editors award.

PAULA LOPES
PhD in Sociology by the ISCTE-IUL, in 2014, through the fellowship programme of the Portuguese Foundation for the Science and Technology (FCT), Paula Lopes is Assistant Professor at Autonomus University of Lisbon (UAL, since 1996), scientific coordinator of the degree and the master in Communication Sciences since 2017, integrated researcher at Communication and Society Research Centre - University of Minho, and member of OBSERVARE and NIP-C@M - Autonomus University of Lisbon.
She has developed research on media and digital literacy practices and skills, media and digital consumption, and their relationship with citizenship pratices (her PhD study focuses on media literacy - citizenship and aims at investigating if and how media literacy impacts citizenship practices).
Paula Lopes is a member of ALFAMED (a Euro-American inter-university research network on media literacy for citizenship, which brings together more than 50 researchers from 13 European and Latin American countries), ELO (Research unity of local studies), FILM (Informal forum about media literacy) and MILOBS (Media, information and literacy observatory).
She is the author of several articles in scientific journals, such as “Communications”, “OBS*”, “Análise Social”, “Janus”, “Media e Jornalismo” and “Estudos em Comunicação”.
Paula Lopes has worked as a journalist in newspapers, magazines and breaking news sites, was training member in CENJOR (Professional training center for journalists) and also worked in institutional and cultural events.

MARCOS PASCOTTO PALERMO
Holds a bachelor 's degree in Social Sciences - Bachelor, from the Universidade Federal Santa Maria (2005), a law degree from the Centro Universitário Franciscano, now the Universidade Franciscana (2007), specialization in Public and Private International Law and Integration Law, Graduation Lato Sensu "The New International Law" of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2009), a master's degree in Law from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2013) and a Master's Degree in Social Sciences from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2014). He is currently an assistant professor and holder of a degree in History of the Universidade Franciscana and is licensed for international academic mobility, at the Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal). He is also a licensed professor at the Faculdade de Direito de Santa Maria.
ANILZA V. TRICAMEGY
PhD student in International Relations, Geopolitics and Geo-economics at the University Autónoma de Lisboa (UAL), since 2016.
Master’s Degree in Management of Development and International Cooperation from the University Moderna de Lisboa, in 2005.

Between 1990 and 2013 she worked for the Pharmaceutical Company Bristol- Myers Squibb in Portugal, in the Regulatory Affairs Department. There she assumed increasing and diversified responsibilities in the implementation and Management of Projects.
She was responsible for the Management of Confidential Technical Documentation of the Organization, in conjunction with directives of the Head Company (Princeton, N.J, USA.) and its subsidiaries all over the world.
Here she managed the Clinical Trials Application Process in Portugal, in articulation with the Instituto Nacional de Farmácia e do Medicamento (INFARMED).
In addition, she also managed the various stages of Translating of Confidential Technical Documentation Process.
She was accountable for the management of Working Groups in the field of Quality Certification.
She was involved in the management of the Interactive Database in the area of Regulation Worldwide, in order to allow the tracing of Confidential Technical Documentation of the products with access of all worldwide users within the Organization.
She participated actively in the European Group responsible for the pilot project “Tracking Time Database”, in articulation with the Bristol-Myers Squibb subsidiary, in Brussels.
